Nicolás Muñoz

Comienza su trayectoria profesional en el mundo de la fotografía y posteriormente se dedica a tareas de director, productor y guionista. Hasta la fecha ha escrito y dirigido múltiples documentales y cortometrajes, premiados en diversos festivales, y dos largometrajes de ficción, "REWIND" estrenado en 1999, y "ANIMALES DE COMPAÑÍA" estrenado 2009. En 2008 publica su primera novela, "CENIZAS", tras ganar el premio Javier Tomeo de novela. En 2018 publica su segunda novela DESCENDIENTES. En 2019 su documental "ANTONIO LOPEZ APUNTES DEL NATURAL" tiene una enorme repercusión. En 2021 dirige "NOTAS DE SOLEDAD", financiado por el ayto de Madrid.

Began his professional career in the world of photography. Now is dedicated to tasks of director, producer and screenwriter. To date he has written and directed five short films, winning prizes at several festivals, the documentary "ANTONIO LOPEZ APUNTES DEL NATURAL", "EL VIAJE DE SUSU" ("SUSU'S JOURNEY"), "EL MAESTRO SAHARAUI" ("THE SAHARAN TEACHER") and "JUNTOS Y REVUELTOS" ("SIDE BY SIDE, EYE TO EYE"), two feature-length films, "REWIND", premiered in 1999, and "ANIMALES DE COMPANIA" ("PETS"), premiered in 2009. In 2008 he also published his first novel "CENIZAS", after winning the Javier Tomeo novel prize. In 2018 he published his second novel “DESCENDIENTES”. In 2019 the documentary "ANTONIO LOPEZ APUNTES DEL NATURAL", had a great repercussion. In 2021 he directs "NOTES ON SOLITUDE", funded by Madrid city council.
